He is so banged up. I would seriously consider letting him rest against USM next week with the bye the week after.

Luckily our running game got going last night as you could tell he was struggling moving around last night compared to early in the season

You have to consider that the wind was blowing at 25 to 30 mph almost the entire game might have something to do with neither team having much of a passing game.

We pretty much hit on all cylinders today. Love to see a complete game and arse whipping of Troy. Lunch just needs to stick to what works which is to the short passing. Especially to the TE's. We threw to the TE's last night! Congrats to Des and the boys.

No doubt he’s banged up. We’ve been relying on him as QB1 and RB1. I’m just not sure how we can continue relying on him to be this much of a runner without him physically breaking down. He’s obviously pretty damn durable, as other QBs would likely have missed time by now, but just worried this isn’t sustainable.

Meanwhile, we don’t have the luxury of resting him vs Southern Miss. I know they may not be very good, but we’re not that far heads and shoulders above anyone in the Sun Belt, and our second strong QB hasn’t shown he can go out there and win a game with his arm.

It’s pretty impressive to win when the other team knows exactly what you’re going to do yet they can’t stop it.

If the passing game comes around we’ll obviously be even tougher to beat. Only 4 passing TDs needs to improve. Lunch is capable. Needs his pass catchers to help too.

On a passing note, love that Beale got in there for a long completion.
